Balancing holders by pre-mfg calculations does not compensate for material changes, drill drifting, tolerances in milling and all the little things that can effect balance. To balance to G6.3 you must have less than 8.2 gr/mm on a CAT40 collet chuck. There is also a dramatic improvement in balance consistency by using balanced collet chuck nuts. PIONEER balances ER Collet Nuts individually from the chuck for optimal performance. All End Mill, Shell Mill, Collet Chucks, Mill Chucks, MX, VX, SX and Shrink holders are Dynamically Balanced standard. Customer specific dynamic balance and certification can be performed in Chicago by request. |
